NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: September 9, 2018

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS NFL football week 1 Betting ANALYSIS
The New Orleans Saints will host division rivals the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their season opener. It is the biggest spread on the board this week but it is not big enough. The Saints were very good last year finishing 11-5 and winning their division. They ended up one bad defensive lapse away from making t to the NFC Championship game. This 2018 roster returns virtually the same team from a season ago and should be challenging for the Superbowl again. The Saints will be led by 39 year old star Quarterback Drew Brees and reigning offensive rookie of the year Alvin Kamara. They will be missing star running back Mark Ingram but a bigger workload for Kamara should be no problem. The Saints were also 7-1 at home last season so we should expect to see a strong effort from them The Buccaneers have a lot of questions coming into this game. The first and biggest is at Quarterback. Their regular starter Jameis Winston is suspended for the first few games of this season meaning they will have to rely on Ryan Fitzpatrick to lead their team today against a very tough New Orleans Saints defense that was one of the best units in the NFC last season. They also have questions at running back as rookie Ronald Jones was very bad in the preseason and Peyton Barber who is their other option really isn’t good enough to take on the role of a number 1 back. With Fitzpatrick starting at Quarterback it will be very important for Tampa Bay to get their run game going but it will be a very tough task. The Bucs were just 1-7 away from home last season and they should struggle here. Back the Saints to win this comfortably.
