NBA Future Value Bets
Cleveland Cavaliers +700
The Cavs have not had a great season. They have had trouble in the locker room, chemistry issues, a
complete roster overhaul, injury issues and more. Even with all that how can you count out Lebron in
the playoffs. He has arguably had one of the best seasons of his careers this year and he is healthy
having played in all 82 games for the first time in his career. He has been to 8 NBA Finals in his career.
He has the ability to find another level in the playoffs and make everyone else around him better. Don’t
count out the Cavs this year.
Toronto Raptors +800
In terms of advanced efficiency there were only two teams slightly better than Toronto this season. The
Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. They also feature what might be the NBA’s best bench.
The Raptors look like a legitimate threat to win the East. Do I think they’re better than Golden State or
Houston? No. But you never know what can happen when you get to the finals and the Raptors are
clearly capable of playing at a very high level.
Philadelphia 76ers +2000
They’re the hottest team in the NBA coming into the playoffs having won 16 straight games. This roster
is extremely well built they have a great mix of young talent and veteran leadership. The other thing this
team has is confidence. A true belief that they can beat anyone in the league. It’s been a big year for the
city of Philadelphia and in a wide-open Eastern Conference the 76ers look like a team that could
complete the process and makes a playoff run.
Utah Jazz +5000
This is a big long shot especially in the tough Western Conference but this Jazz team absolutely rolled
through the second half of the season. They struggled through injuries in the first half of the season and
were near the bottom of the West but rebounded in a huge way and ended up finishing in 5th. With
their number 1 ranked defense and an improving offense the Jazz could make a run in the West.
